Joan is a teenager who lives on books and rock and roll music. She lives in Paris with her family, when amnesty is decreed in Brazil at the end of 1979. Suddenly, and her wishes, her family plans the return to the country she barely remembers. In Rio de Janeiro, where she was born and where her father disappeared in the basements of the DOPS, her past reappears. Not everything is real, not everything is imagination, but in "remembering", Joana writes her own history in the present, in the first person.
