Devoted mother Ângela Cristina has to deal with the difficulties and delights of raising her teenage daughter, Maria de Lourdes, during one of the most complicated stages of life. While mother goes through a roller coaster of emotions - fears, frustrations and a truckload of complaints to unload - teen Malu, as she prefers to be called, also has grievances. Stubborn, she suffers from the excessive care and old fashioned manner of her mother.
